3/20 Update! Hi all! The team has been really busy this month but we’ve made a bunch of updates on the backend. Also new on the frontend: - Fixed bio displaying at half width on mobile - Hashtags added to homepage sidebar! - Account deletion added under user settings - Animated GIF covers are back 💥 Hashtags is a *super* early work WIP that isn't fully up and running yet. The main idea right now is for you to start using them in post descriptions, so that when we do have things operational, it will be easy to discover different types of work and your posts! But obviously please use relevant tags and don't spam incorrect categories 🥺 Please feel free to suggest any #topics you want to see us feature on the sidebar. We have a lot of things planned around community topics and conversations, it will just take a while to implement it all, but we look forward to your feedback! As usual, let us know if you run into any issues. Thank you!

Dungeoning Views_01

Another one from this fantasy worldbuikding streak. Happy because it works both as a storytelling exercise and as style research. I wanna do more of this comic inspired keyframes. A classic situation: party got lost, deep in the #dungeon

I've been crunching like crazy and sleeping at 5-8am every day so ofc my brain thought hey, wouldn't it be cool to organize all my equipment in a visual shelf??? 🥲😩😭 I even wrote a mini review for the cameras and lenses 😩 Swear to god my ADD is out of control haha. Anyway I already did it so whatever, maybe organizing is just my way of destressing 😬 I quite like how neat everything looks, if you'd like to check out what I use for photography, feel free to look! - 📸 Camera & Lenses: https://shopmy.us/collections/136328 - 💡 Lighting & Studio Equipment: https://shopmy.us/collections/136364 - 🖥 Desktop: https://shopmy.us/collections/136358

The Sacred City of Igrin

"Most visitors discover Igrin while crossing the Valka river. The bridge has been built at the height of Igrin's power, and these days are long gone. Today, Igrin shivers near its lake, trembling as the Winter and Halburg's army are coming." The first concept art has been done for several purposes, using the same 3d base as the map. I wanted to test new workflows using blender, as well as rebuilding the city of my personal project, whose first 3d model was lost due to a hard drive malfunction. It was also a way to push concepts ideas I started as school demos. It's been built using scans, kitbash, and of course my own assets. I've worked on this concept during the last few weeks, whenever I had time, trying a few different renderings before settling on this aspect. In many ways, it's a remake of the first artwork I did for this project, as well as a love letter to the dark, gothic fantasy that inspired me to start this (Bloodborne, Castlevania among many). Concerning the map; I always loved fantasy maps, so making one to help me navigate this project was a no brainer. It's been repainted on top of the blender render, I really wanted to have this fantasy/D&D feel.

Hi all! We are interviewing some of Destiny 2's concept team about the game's latest release, Lightfall. I plan to chat about their process towards design and compile it into an article for the Cara blog. Do you have any questions for the team? Let me know and I can try to add it to the interview! 🥰

The Hollywood Reporter - Michelle Yeoh

So incredibly happy and proud of the Everything Everywhere All At Once team for making history at the Oscars!!! 🥹🥹🥹 Just unbelievably happy for everyone who worked on the film. I got to do this shoot with Michelle Yeoh for THR a year ago. It was the beginning of the promos for EEAAO, and I don’t think anyone could’ve imagined the journey in store for the film to come. It's extra special that as an Asian photographer whose work was never accepted in the US, that I got to photograph an Asian woman, for the cover of a US publication, for a film that's now recognized in the US. I really think this film has had a profound impact on elevating Asian representation and voices, both in front and behind the camera, and I'm grateful that it exists. Hope the film's team goes on to do even cooler and funner and awesomer things!! ✨✨✨
